Web and Information Working Group

The Web and Information Working Group currently meet quarterly. Membership for the group consists of organisations that have a significant web presence in the area of participation and includes those aimed at children, young people or practitioners and adults.

The organisations meet to link up information on children and young people’s participation in Wales and to share new developments in their work.
 
In addition the Web and Information Working Group have a number of priorities that they are leading on:

  • Cleaning up information to ensure that members of the Participation Consortium are sending out consistent messages on participation.
  • Developing a marketing strategy for the promotion of children and young people’s participation
  • Ensuring that information on participation is available in different formats and accessible to all.
  • Developing an information plan with the web as one of multiple strands.
  • Making available case studies that demonstrate good practice in participation.
