Children in Wales Tender: Delivery of Youth Expert programme

Posted:20/08/2012

Children in Wales is the national umbrella children's organisation in Wales, bringing organisations and individuals together to make the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child a reality in Wales. Children in Wales also fight for sustainable quality services for all children and young people, aims ensure special attention and treatment for children in need, and gives children and young people a voice.

Children in Wales is keen to ensure its work is directly influenced by the voices of young people, particularly those who are not in education, training or employment (NEET) or those at risk of becoming NEET. The client wishes to procure the development of a programme of activity with young people working in groups to identify, develop and articulate their key issues and concerns, particularly in relation to

  • The barriers they encounter in staying in or returning to education and further learning, or to finding work
  • The support that they feel is needed to achieve this.

Please note that this project is part funded by Reach the Heights, the Welsh Government led European Social Fund Project. Any organisations wishing to apply must be registered on the Sell2Wales website
