Blast Off! Guides

The Blast Off! Guides are a range of good practice guides developed by the Participation Unit and based on the experiences of workers in Wales.

Nine guides were developed originally as paper resources and are now only available to download.  More have been developed since as purely downloadable guides with others currently in development.

National Participation Standards

The Children and Young People’s Participation Consortium and the Participation Unit developed the Children and Young People’s National Participation Standards from commonly agreed ‘core principles’ of participation

These Standards indicate what young people should expect from the services that they are involved in and provide a benchmark for organisations to be inspected against.
